About Chess Grow
Our sister company builds and operates chessgrow.com, a platform that supports chess training and collaboration between students, trainers and caretakers.
It delivers tailored digital training materials; helps fine-tune learning pace and content, and enables interaction with established educators. The result is rapid skill development of players at all levels of ability.

The Challenge
Before the pandemic, chessgrow.com primarily supported traditional chess classes.
When the lockdown hit, everything changed. Pupils could not attend classes. Trainers found their jobs were at risk. Parents were forced to juggle remote work with organizing their kids’ days without school and activities.
Interest in remote chess classes skyrocketed and Chess Grow had to offer them fast to survive. The problem was, available video chat tools were insufficient to provide an engaging remote learning experience, especially for younger children.
The Solution
When there are no ready made solutions, we roll up our sleeves and roll out our own.
We started off with user experience analysis to find out why existing video chat options didn’t cut and what would make online chess lessons captivating for the kids.
At the same time, we solved the technical challenges involved in rolling out a dependable and cost effective video chat component for our solution. You can read about the details here.
The result of those efforts became Chess Grow ClassRoom, a dedicated web solution for remote chess learning.

When lockdown hit Poland, I was scared my son will have to stop his chess trainings which he loves so much. Fortunately this online tool appeared and solved the problem for us.
Father of 6-year-old Dominik
I was shocked how immersive can online classes be. It's often difficult to keep children engaged, especially when they are not in the same room, but features of ClassRoom make it so much easier!
Chess trainer
It was a win-win. My daughter was happy to be able to interact with her friends despite lockdowns and we were happy that she didn't have to quit learning, as it's tough to organize everything at home by ourselves.
