2FAS is a small startup with a lofty goal of providing security tools for both the average Joe and the advanced geek. Their focus is privacy, cutting-edge security and ease of use.

Their core product is the 2FA Authenticator, a mobile app with over 1 million devoted users. No small feat in a highly competitive market dominated by the biggest IT players!

The 2FA Authenticator app started out as a cross-platform MVP built using React Native.

This approach was great for bringing the initial product to the market quickly, but not as well suited for building an app that delivers native performance, top-notch security, and an intuitive user experience.

To differentiate in the highly competitive market, for version 2.0 2FAS had to go beyond React.

From the get-go, we focused on giving the app a native look-and-feel with a simple yet distinctive design.

We optimized the UX of core interactions by thoroughly testing and fine-tuning them to find the right balance between functionality, security and ease of use.

Security was paramount. At every step we had to ensure that sensitive data remains encrypted and private, all while keeping it available to the user in a blink of an eye, across all synchronized devices.

Through disciplined development and careful maintenance, we built an intuitive app that the users love, as it keeps them blissfully unaware of all the underlying complexities.
